Nathan Olsen – United States Air Force, Goodfellow Air Force Base
Nathan believes in the power of giving back because he has experienced firsthand how support and generosity can carry someone through life’s most difficult moments. After losing his father in high school, the kindness of his church, community, family, and friends left a lasting impact, shaping his commitment to pay it forward and be a source of strength for others.
Being named a 2025 Community Champion is a humbling honor for Nathan. He sees it as an opportunity to inspire others to step forward, lend a hand, and make a meaningful difference in their communities. To him, even small acts of kindness can create ripples that change lives.
Nathan and his family prioritize community involvement wherever life takes them. From coaching local sports teams to teaching Sunday School and volunteering in various ways, they seek meaningful ways to connect and contribute, building lasting relationships and supporting the growth and well-being of those around them.
A guiding principle for Nathan comes from Major Dick Winters: “If you are a leader, you lead the way.” This quote drives him to lead by example in every area of his life, ensuring trust and integrity in all that he does.
