Meals For The Elderly Names New Executive Director
 
Meals For The Elderly has appointed Norma Dietz-Lee as their new Executive Director, succeeding Dason Tucker, who is relocating to another city. Norma has started in her new role and will work along side Dason until he departs on Wednesday, September 25th.
 
Norma Dietz-Lee hails from San Angelo, Texas, and holds a Bachelor of Spanish in Christian Ministries from Dallas Baptist University. She is a certified Health Worker Instructor for the State of Texas Health and Human Services Department.
 
Norma spent 20 years at La Esperanza clinic as Director of Outreach, where she served in various capacities including Success by 6 Director - Assisting Pregnant to Parenting Youth. Following her tenure at La Esperanza, she was the Site Director at Bright Horizons for 3 years before accepting the Executive Director position at Meals For The Elderly.
 
Norma has been married to her husband, Giovanni Lee, for 31 years. They have four children and four grandchildren. In her free time, she volunteers extensively with organizations such as SAISD, TLCA, Concho Valley Baptist Association as a VBS consultant, Director of Children’s Ministry, Safe Kids-San Angelo, the Regional Advisory Board-Texas, and Christian Women’s Core.
 
Meals For The Elderly eagerly welcomes Norma to their team and family. We look forward to her leadership and are excited about her contribution to our continued growth and success within the community!
