Mary Alice Rodgers Making A Difference Award recognizes an outstanding person or organization that is making a difference in their community through their time, actions, talents, and dedication. Such an award not only recognizes their contribution to their community service and volunteer work, but the compassion, respect and kindness shown to others. The nominee should serve as a role model for Meals For The Elderly and have a passion for helping the homebound population within their community.
Eligibility
Any past or present volunteer, board member, staff member, business or organization, donor, and community member in the Meals For The Elderly service areas of Tom Green, Concho, and Irion Counties, as well as Miles, TX.
Criteria
Nominees for this award will have consistently demonstrated outstanding qualities of compassion and service to their community in the past year, as well as a dedication to Meals For The Elderly’s mission and vision.
Nominations
Nominations will be open 7/9/2024 and must be received by 9/27/2024. The winner will be honored at our Golden Gala event in November.
