With the numbers in the elderly population ever increasing, we must be poised to continue to grow and serve these increased needs. Our agency is boldly looking to the future and planning to meet the needs of the seniors in Tom Green County and the Concho Valley for years to come. Our organization spent more than a year in long range planning sessions and needs assessment of Tom Green County and the Concho Valley in order to best plan to meet the needs of the growing elderly population.

The Meals For The Elderly expansion is soon to become a reality. The buillding is being updated to accomodate for the new millenium. We have received grants from the San Angelo Health Foundation, The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation, The Woslager Foundation, The Redwine Foundation, and the Meadows Foundation to begin construction on the new wing for the Meals For The Elderly building. The new expansion will allow for a 5, 400 square feet increase in dry storage, freezer storage, cold storage, office space, and volunteer space. A meal distribution center and a covered drive-through will be just a few of the wonderful improvements of our new expansion. We need your help to assist us in raising the funds we will need to purchase furnishings for the new wing.

Meals For The Elderly is selling personalized memorial and honorarium tiles as a lasting tribute to a loved one. These tiles, starting at $50, designed by local artist Roger Allen, will be a lifetime remembrance benefiting the homebound.
