The 7th Annual Seniors Still Believe Campaign ran from Nov. 9th through December 9th of in 2016.  During this time, we partnered with the Sunset Mall to help make sure our elderly clients experience the warmth of the season this Christmas by asking the community to fulfill a senior's gift wish so that they can have at least one Christmas gift.

A Christmas tree was set up in the South Entrance of the mall with ornaments. Each ornament displayed a homebound elderly individual's name, Christmas gift wish, and sizes if necessary.  The community was invited to pick an ornament & shop for the client's Christmas wish, then drop off the ornament with the gift at either Barbed Wire & Roses at the mall (south entrance across from Ulta) or at the Meals For The Elderly office (310 E. Houston Harte) during normal business hours.

We made sure the client on each ornament received their gift by Christmas.

We are also accepted donations of LARGE Christmas gift bags so that the gifts could arrive with the look and feel of a Christmas gift.

Some also donated "stocking stuffer" items.

INFORMATION REGARDING OUR 2017 CAMPAIGN WILL BE POSTED IN FALL 2017. PLEASE CHECK BACK!
