29th Annual Christmas Open House
A-- / A++

Our 29th Annual Christmas Open House Fundraiser is coming up fast. This event  will be a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit, giving you the chance to enjoy delicious food and live music while touring a show-stopping Vista Del Arroyo home that is an art-lover’s dream.

Generous hosts Kelly and Francis Jelensperger are opening   up their elegant home so Meals For The Elderly supporters can Jingle and Mingle on  Sunday, December 10th from 11am to 3pm.

This event is the last fundraiser in 2017, and our seniors need your help now more than ever. We know with your support, 2017 will be this event’s most successful year yet!

The event will include live music from local musicians and amazing food from area chefs, as guests tour this designer home decked out for the holidays.

Kelly has an interior design business, Shannon Interiors, and her signature taste sets her family home apart from the moment you walk in the front door. Her unique style and the Jelensperger’s love for art and travel punctuate each room brilliantly.

The Jelensperger’s home, located at 2645 Vista Del Arroyo, is over 4,100 square feet and was built in 1968.

This established, renovated  home is full to the brim with incredible art pieces you just have to see to believe.

In 1989 the event began as a vision of Suzanne Sugg, who was instrumental in the creation of the first Open House, beginning the tradition of annual home tours at her home on South David Street.

This year our hope is to provide about 17,000 more meals through this event. We simply cannot reach this goal without the generosity of both businesses and individuals with a heart for seniors who are generous enough to give to this special cause. Reservations are $30 in advance, $35 at the door and sponsorships start at just $300 and all levels include tickets to the event.

To sponsor or make reservations for this event, use our online reservation page or call Becca Edens or Rebecca Padilla at 325-655-9200.
